It’s Beltane, or May Day, and Fae and I are embarking on a grand adventure together — namely our new blog! We’ve been friends and coven sisters for over four years now. Through all that time, we’ve always talked about our kids, our spirituality, our daily responsibilities, and how we blend all the facets of ourselves to form a (mostly) coherent life. We are scarily similar, from our 5-foot-ish height to our curvy (that’s what I said!) figures, to our likes, dislikes, and random thoughts. It seems in hindsight like a big ol’ “duh” that we should be doing something like this, but it wasn’t until Fae’s hubby turned to us today and said, “You guys should be writing together. Why don’t you create a blog?” that the idea even came up. Being the obsessive-compulsives that we are, we naturally jumped all over it and started putting it together.

While we are very similar in many ways, we have our differences, too. One big one is that Fae is out of the broom closet in terms of her religion, while I am most definitely in the closet right now, with no plans to come out in the near future. I’ll explain more about that in another post. Suffice it to say this means we see a lot of things from different perspectives. Should make for some interesting discussions.
